FT/PT Veterinary Technicians and Assistants-Wasatch Animal Clinic is seeking FT/PT veterinary technicians and assistants. Veterinary Technician/Receptionist-The Technician/Receptionist will be responsible for client and patient care and assisting of the Veterinarian. Responsibilities: Assist Veterinarian in medical and surgical procedures. Maintain and use medical equipment. Perform routine laboratory procedures. Take vital signs of animals, perform dental cleanings, maintain boarding facilities, prepare records and admit patients. Schedule appointments and surgeries, dispense medications, pet foods and supplies. Properly invoice prescriptions/pet foods to maintain inventory. Greet clients in a friendly manner, perform closing procedures and other duties as assigned. QualificationsSome Veterinary experience preferred. Must effectively read, speak and write in English. Must have basic computer literacy skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be customer service oriented and friendly, professional appearance is required. Must be able to work all shifts including some weekends.
